„Ein Film mit einem Personalpronomen im Titel“ war der Name unserer ersten echten Challenge. Deshalb besprechen wir in dieser Episode die britische Kultkomödie Withnail & I (1987) sowie die recht aktuelle SciFi-Romanze Her (2013).

Für den zweiten Teil haben wir uns eingehend mit dem Marvel Cinematic Universe beschäftigt, machen unserer Kritik Luft und plädieren für mehr Mut bei Superheldenfilmen.

Copper alloy refining Copper is a naturally occurring metal found in the environment and is an essential nutrient for humans and other living organisms. In small amounts, copper is required for healthy growth and development, as it plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, connective tissue, and the proper functioning of the nervous and immune systems. However, exposure to high levels of copper can be harmful to human health. Copper can enter the environment through natural processes such as rock weathering, volcanic activity, and erosion. Human activities such as mining, manufacturing, and agricultural practices also release copper into the environment. Copper can bioaccumulate in the food chain, which means that organisms at higher trophic levels can accumulate and store copper in their bodies over time. This can pose a health risk to humans who consume these organisms. Acute exposure to high levels of copper can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, while long-term exposure can lead to liver and kidney damage, anemia, and neurological problems. Occupational exposure to copper has been linked to an increased risk of cancer, particularly lung and liver cancer. Children are also more vulnerable to the harmful effects of copper due to their smaller body weight and developing organs. To minimize the health risks associated with copper exposure, governmental organizations have established regulations and guidelines for copper exposure levels in water, soil, and food. It is important for individuals to be aware of potential sources of copper exposure and take necessary precautions, such as using personal protective equipment and following proper safety guidelines in occupations where copper exposure is common. Additionally, individuals can reduce their exposure to copper by choosing low-copper foods, using copper-free cookware, and ensuring that their drinking water does not contain elevated levels of the metal Scrap metal exports Copper scrap industry trends Sustainable copper processing Copper scrap permits Copper tube recycling Metal reclaiming and repurposing facility

Copper scrap disposal regulations Copper is an essential mineral for the global energy industry, and its role in our future energy transition cannot be underestimated. Copper is needed in order to sustainably generate clean energy and to support the electrification of transportation. The demand for copper will only continue to increase as we move towards a carbon-neutral world. One of the main uses of copper in the energy transition is in clean energy production. Copper is used extensively in renewable energy systems such as wind turbines and solar panels. Wind turbines require around 4 to 8 tons of copper per megawatt, or about 14,000 to 28,000 pounds of copper per turbine. Similarly, solar photovoltaic (PV) cells also require a significant amount of copper wiring to connect all the cells together. Copper is also essential for storing and transmitting energy, which is important for a grid that relies heavily on renewable energy sources. Large batteries, such as those used in electric vehicles and in energy storage systems for power plants, also require copper for wiring and electronic components. Copper is also used to create power transmission lines that can transport energy from renewable sources to urban areas. As we move towards a greener transportation sector, copper will become increasingly important. Electric vehicles require more copper than traditional gas-fueled cars, mainly due to the large-scale production of electric motors and battery systems. This means that the growth of electric vehicles will drive up demand for copper. However, copper mining and production is not without its environmental and social impacts. Mining can lead to deforestation, habitat destruction, and water pollution. Additionally, the social and economic benefits of copper mining are not always shared equitably with local communities and workers. To ensure a sustainable transition to a greener future that relies on copper, it will be crucial for the industry to address these social and environmental concerns. It is also important to consider alternative materials and recycling methods to reduce the demand for new copper production. In conclusion, copper is a vital component of the energy transition towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. Its use in renewable energy, energy storage, and transportation will continue to increase, and it is important for the industry to address the potential environmental and social impacts associated with increasing copper production. While copper remains a valuable mineral for the future of energy, we must be mindful of its use and find ways to minimize its negative impacts Scrap metal pricing Copper scrap Copper scrap processing technologies Copper scrap recycling plant Copper scrap sorting technologies Metal waste separation
